Sunday Night With John: Good News Everyone!
/I couldn’t take it anymore. All the hatred, violence, and pain being spewed on the news from every corner of the world last week has been oppressive. Yes, there has been a rough patch of violence, racism, and hate being thrown around, but there has to be more to the human race than this. I went in search of uplifting stories. Stories that inspire. Stories that remind me there are good people doing good work. Low and behold there IS kindness, love, and healing occurring all around us. The human spirit is not decaying and dying a slow death. There are people crossing racial divides. There are communities attempting to change. There are people responding to tragedies in amazing ways, and there are people hell bent on spreading love.
Like the black lives matter movement, and police getting together for a BBQ
Or this guy who started a charity for abused animals after suffering a vicious dog bite.

The world is always a mix of good and bad. Where we put our focus is going to shape our view of the world and I will not just focus on what’s wrong with the world. We must just as loudly and proudly point out what we are doing right! There is good news all around us, now go find it, and share it with everyone.
