We all miss someone, something, and some places as we navigate social distancing. The feeling of missing could bind us together because it’s our collective experience.

Things will be different when we begin to socialize again. Many will be grieving a loss and others will be faced with new labels they never expected to carry. How we manage our new normal will be crucial.

How being home more made me remember the epic hide and go seek games from my youth. Why those moments are essential for life and why we can, we need to return to them!

My two little girls will one day read and heat at least a little of my writings and story telling. Today’s entry into Sunday Night with John is about how I realize that when this is all over it will be all theres and my voice will always be close for them to hear if they need it!

They don’t have capes but our doctors, nurses, social workers, grocery workers and child care workers have acted heroically. Let’s remember they are human and at-risk to this virus.

As the world comes to a halt, I choose vulnerability. I hope you do too!
