Every person in power has stopped change from happening due to the idea the proposal has to be perfect. There is no such thing- so remember perfection is the enemy of the people and move forward even if you make a mistake or two.

The people who I grew up around taught me a lot, and it made me a social justice advocate. I hope they realize soon the current leadership doesn't represent anything but what's best for them.

Certain voice tones just have a way of smoothing over situations, I believe there is a reason why. They have such a soothing effect on us because of a life well-lived.

We all have moments we remember who and where we at when something occurred. During this pandemic, I have missed those moments. I write about one tonight to remind us and myself those days are rare, and it’s good to tell people they happened.
