It may not seem like it, but we should seek out folks who are consistence with good intentions and should be who we look to in times of chaos. Even if when we disagree with them.

Progress isn’t easy, but I remain hopeful our society will figure this out!

Walking in a parade this weekend had me see a different, better side of humanity.

My yearly trek to my favorite place again revealed a truth. We must somehow move forward with confidence while finding a way to be flexible enough to change.

Sometimes I wonder what we have lost by having so many windows into others’ lives through social media. Sometimes, the best stories I’ve ever heard were that you had to be their stories. Are we losing that, and what happens when we do?

We never reach perfection, but we can often figure out ways to be better and remain vulnerable to screwing up.

Whether we like it or not, we are the sum of the stories people tell others. Embracing it, not ignoring it, might be the key to unlocking our best selves.

For everyone everywhere who doesn’t feel like they are invisible, someone out will see you and make you feel like you are on top of the world. Even if it only lasts a couple of dances at your 8th grade formal!
