Simply put, today’s blog is about a poignant question about trauma and struggling combined with an honest answer about recovery form trauma and struggles.

The ability to examine our choies, our past history is one of the best ways we learn and grow. Why are we becoming afraid of that exercise.

As we bounce from one community tragedy to the next, we have to wonder how we move through all the emotional toll to a healthier place.

The notion our personal experience equates to everyone else is a false narrative. We can have a similar experience and bond over those occurrences, but nothing translates to everyone. We would be wiser to interact with each other remembering this, and the world would be a more compassionate.

We often assume what people will get from interacting with us, but we know very little about what the people, groups, and crowds we interact with will take from their time with us. That’s ok, and we should forge ahead, being more comfortable being surprised by what people learn from us.

How often are we presented with negative feedback, and how often do we get the pleasure of hearing positives about ourselves? Maybe we should examine that ratio and try to increase the positive feedback.
