The need to be correct is slowly killing our ability to carry compassion for people different than us.

Our relationship with each other is often intertwined with our relationship with time. How all those interact often determines how healthy we can become and who we spent our time with.

Do the Right Thing, something advice we toss around all the time. Yet, we might not be ready engage in the real process of what it means to do the right thing. Maybe we start just understand the right things.

I hear it often; what a rewarding career you must have. It’s a nice gesture, but do we really understand social work and many other fields are not rewarding? At least not in the way you think they are. It’s a profession and profession that need to do incredibly well. We would be wise to move toward treating it that way.

The use of power over others creates a massive amount of energy. That energy has to go somewhere; those with power would be wise to understand how to channel that power into something positive.

The ability to examine our choies, our past history is one of the best ways we learn and grow. Why are we becoming afraid of that exercise.
